Gran Turismo 7’s Weekly Challenges recycle existing single-player events and mix them with one limited-time new challenge. As the name suggests, every seven days a new roster of five tests appears, and there is a payout for completing one, three and all five.
With the Spec III update, it promised greater event variety by adding ‘Mission Challenge’ and ‘Time Trial’ events. Up until this point, the ‘Limited Time Online Event’ was always a themed race.

Today, 5th December 2025, the first of this revised Weekly Challenge is now live.
It brings with it some UI changes, with Weekly Challenges existing in a tab on the far left of the main menu for easier access.
The first of the new challenge types is indeed a ‘Mission’. You race around Watkins Glen in the Corvette CX.R VGT Concept, starting last from a grid of road-going Corvettes across the ages. You have one lap to win.
First pays out 20,000 credits, second 12,000 and third 8,000.

Don’t forget to use all of the run-off on the exit of Turn 1 and to use this car’s boost function, which has a dramatic effect. You should reach the final car by the final corner.
However, much like before, there is only one custom-made event; there are just three types of event now that can feature in this slot.
All five events are:
- Japanese FF Challenge 450: Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Infield A
- Silvia Sisters: Deep Forest Raceway Reverse
- European FR Challenge 550: Autodrome Lago Maggiore – East
- Mission Challenge – Limited Time Online Event: Watkins Glen Long Course, one lap
- World Touring Car 800: Yas Marina Circuit
The bonus prizes are:
- Complete one event: 100,000 credits
- Complete three events: 200,000 credits
- Complete five events: 500,000 credits

This particular Weekly Challenge can be completed until 11th December 2025 at 23:59.59 in your local timezone. You need to have finished Menu Book 39 in GT Café to unlock Weekly Challenges.
