Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.20 brings new cars, Barcelona layouts

The latest free update for Gran Turismo 7 was announced earlier today (24th August) and it will include new content across the various aspects of the title.

This Update 1.20 will drop on PlayStation consoles on Thursday (25th August) and will include three new cars and three new track layouts, among other things.

We were able to properly dissect the teaser image of the new vehicles shared earlier in the week.

Indeed, the three new cars coming to GT7 include the McLaren MP4/4 ’88, the Pontiac GTO ‘The Judge’ ’69 and the Porsche Cayman GT4 ’16.

As for the new track layouts, they all come in the form of different versions of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Those layouts include the normal GP layout with no chicane, a shorter National layout, and for the first time, a Rallycross layout that combines pavement with a dirt section, including jumps!

The update will also bring two new “Extra Menus” to the GT Café. Extra Menu 6 will be about collecting Abarth cars. Extra Menu 7 is all about Gr. 2 Racing Cars.

These are not part of the main menu listings and can be completed at any time. They usually come with a fancy car or Roulette Ticket as a prize for completion.

Tomorrow’s update includes other neat things as well, including a new scenic area for those who enjoy Scapes. Also, that Dior-themed content will also be dropping when the update goes live.

We don’t yet know of any fixes just yet, but we’ll keep a lookout for any changes when the update releases. Is there anything that you’re particularly excited about? Let us know in the comments!
