Gear.Club Unlimited 3 slips into 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2

Gear.Club Unlimited 3’s Nintendo Switch 2 release has slipped into 2026.

A timed exclusive, the arade racer was originally set to release in late 2025 on Nintendo Switch 2, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S versions and PC versions following in early 2026.

This is no longer the case, with the Switch 2 version now set to arrive in 2026. It will presumably still be a timed Nintendo exclusive, but we have reached out to Nacon for confirmation. This was also the case for Gear.Club Unlimited 2, which was initially a Nintendo Switch exclusive before coming to other platforms in an Ultimate Edition.

Several retailers, including Amazon and Playasia, are listing the physical Switch 2 game for 19th February, 2026, while other platforms have a 31st December placeholder. However, Nacon has confirmed to Traxion that a release date has not yet been set.

The Playasia listing suggests that the physical version will ship on a game key card rather than a cartridge in Japan. However, a game key card is not shown on the Amazon listing.

Gear.Club Unlimited 3 is an accessible arcade racer featuring over 40 licensed cars from Japan, North America, Europe and the Middle East. Each car is fully customisable and can be displayed at your headquarters, with options to upgrade acceleration and torque using resource points.

The third game is set to feature a new Highway Rush mode, where you must dodge traffic to keep your meter full, as well as a story mode set in France and Japan.

While there is a raft of Switch 2-exclusive racing games to choose from, such as Mario Kart World and Fast Fusion, none of them let you drive licensed cars, which should help Gear.Club Unlimited 3 stand out on the platform next year.
