Nacon has announced that Gear.Club Unlimited 3 will launch on PC and consoles later this year. This will mark the arcade racing series’ PC debut and the first console release since 2018’s Gear.Club Unlimited 2.
Specific platforms have yet to be confirmed, with Nacon confirming it will launch on “current-gen consoles.” It’s not clear yet if this includes the Nintendo Switch 2.
Launching in Q4 2025, Gear.Club Unlimited 3 sees players create their own ‘Gear Clubs’ and race through Japan’s winding roads and the sunny French Riviera in high-performance cars.

Nacon says we can expect “open-road adventures” and “high-octane races” with up to ten cars. A new Highway Mode will also challenge players to weave through traffic at high speed. Like previous games, development will be handled by Eden Games, the studio behind the first two Test Drive Unlimited games.
Traxion has seen some pre-alpha gameplay footage (images used throughout this article, taken from a TV) which showcased a beach-side route and licenced cars from AC, Nissan, Alfa Romeo and Porsche.
Gear.Club Unlimited 3 will be the fifth entry in the franchise, which began as the mobile-only Gear.Club in 2016 before it was ported to Nintendo Switch as Gear Club Unlimited in 2017. A Nintendo Switch sequel, Gear.Club Unlimited 2, followed in 2018, was later ported to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the Ultimate Edition.
