Gear.Club Unlimited 2 - Ultimate Edition releasing on consoles, PC soon

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 is moving up to bigger and better things in the video game sphere. The popular racing game, currently on Nintendo Switch, is heading to other consoles and PC with the Ultimate Edition on 30th November in Europe. On top of that, the Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Definitive Edition for the Switch will also release on the same day and includes all of the DLC. North American racers will have to wait until 14th December.

The game itself offers the ability to drive around in “legendary vehicles” in the large landscape of the driving arena. A career mode exists to put you in a spot to save your family’s racing team from bankruptcy by winning races. There is a Porsche Series, club creation and recruitment, a personalized garage and some DLC content ready to get at launch.

At the start, it seems that the new console versions will only have either single player mode or 2 to 4 player local multiplayer. The Nintendo Switch’s Definitive Edition does state 1 to 8 player multiplayer is also available online. Hopefully that means that the new console versions aren’t too far behind on adding online capabilities.

The team at Eden Games have been working on the Gear.Club Unlimited games for the Switch as well as a mobile version, Gear.Club True Racing. They’ve also worked on the Formula 1 Mobile titles alongside Codemasters, the Test Drive Unlimited series and also on the V-Rally series, but this will be their return to the major gaming consoles, Xbox and PlayStation, since their company shifted their focus in 2013.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Ultimate Edition launches in Europe on 30th November and North America on 14th December. The title will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and on PC.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Definitive Edition releases on the Nintendo Switch in Europe on 30th November and North America on 14th December, including all previously released DLC for Gear.Club Unlimited 2.
