A new rFactor 2 update has added team liveries and track updates from the current 2024/25 Formula E season. Best of all, the update is free for rFactor 2 players who already own the previous Formula E content.
The latest rFactor 2 update adds all eleven Formula E teams from the ongoing 2024/2025 season, including the likes of Andretti Formula E, Jaguar TCS Racing and Maserati MSG Racing. In addition, seven tracks including London, Berlin, Hong Kong have been updated with up-to-date branding from the current season.
The DLC will be automatically installed as part of a game update when launching rFactor 2.

Studio 397 is contracted to create officially licensed BTCC content until 2026, so a similar deal may be in place for Formula E-related content. The platform is the championship’s “official simulation“, with FE content also appearing in Trackmania.
Formula E returns on 12th April, with round five of the electric race series taking place in Miami. Nissan’s Oliver Rowland is currently leading the championship with 25 points, followed closely by McLaren’s Taylor Barnard, who is currently four points behind the championship leader.
