A new collaboration between Nike and the Forza franchise has been announced, with a free 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Jordan Luka 3 Motorsport Edition set to be made available to all players.
The tie-in sees a low-slung Camaro adorned with design cues taken straight from Nike’s popular Luka 3 training shoe, created off the back of a licensing deal with Dallas Mavericks guard and committed petrolhead Luka Dončić (he’s a famous basketball player, for all those wondering).
The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Jordan Luka 3 will be made available in Forza Motorsport on the 9th of September and in Forza Horizon 5 a day later across both PC and Xbox versions of the games. Players can redeem their new car via the Gifts tab in the in-game Message Centre.
Additionally, Forza Motorsport players can unlock a special Jordan Luka 3 Racing Suit by completing the five-event Jordan Luka 3 Motorsport Series in-game.
Six-times NBA champion Michael Jordan, whose name adorns a range of Nike training shoes including the Luka 3, is no stranger to motorsport himself, having owned the 23XI Racing NASCAR team alongside co-owner and driver Denny Hamlin since 2021.
One wonders what he’d make of Dončić’s garishly wrapped real-life Camaro, however…
Does the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Jordan Luka 3 look like the type of car you’d love to hoon in Forza? Let us know in the comments below.
