The No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Ford Mustang driven by BJ McLeod in the NASCAR Cup Series will have a special paint scheme to run, designed by contemporary artist Frankie Zombie, during the Dixie Vodka 400 race weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway on 23rd October.

Before that race, NASCAR 21: Ignition players will have an opportunity to utilize the livery starting on 6th October via Early Access. That’s the same day that the 2022 Season Update releases across a multitude of NASCAR properties for Motorsport Games including on NASCAR 21: Ignition for free to those that already own the title (Standard Edition is expected to drop in price to $19.99 on 6th October).

Fans playing NASCAR 21: Ignition will have access to the real-world Frankie Zombie livery starting on 6th October. That, of course, is if they’ve paid for the NASCAR 21: Ignition Victory Edition, the NASCAR 21: Ignition Season Pass 2 or Season Pass Complete for NASCAR 21: Ignition. It won’t be unlocked for those with just the original Standard or Champion’s Editions of the title.

This content is part of a new collaborative, philanthropic, effort between Motorsport Games, Live Fast Motorsports and Frankie Zombie. The partnership between Frankie Zombie and Motorsport Games will see a series of charity activations and in-person painting events during two real-world race weekends to close out the 2022 NASCAR schedule, those races including Charlotte and Homestead-Miami.

“Frankie is a one-of-a-kind artist, and we hope this upcoming initiative will not only welcome a new community into the Motorsport Games ecosystem, but give our pre-existing fans even more unique and creative elements to our in-person activations and game offerings,” said Jay Pennell, Brand Manager of NASCAR at Motorsport Games.

“Converting a NASCAR stock car into a piece of art is not something you would typically see nor expect, and as a lifelong fan of racing, I cannot wait to see the design putting in 400 laps of racing,” said Frankie Zombie. Besides the live art demonstration, two hoods will also be auctioned off with proceeds forwarded to the Speedway Children’s Charity and the NASCAR Foundation.

The Motorsport Games team will be at five of the remaining six race weekends with both the new 2022 Expansion as well as their new title coming out on 14th October for the Nintendo Switch, NASCAR Rivals.

The NASCAR 21: Ignition Victory Edition, which includes both the previous 2021 Season Pass ($29.99 separately) and the 2022 DLC content in the upcoming Season Pass 2 will cost $49.99 for users on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Pricing for the Season 2 Pass or Season Pass Complete have not yet been confirmed.
