Here’s how to find all of the Treasure cars within Forza Horizon 6, a new type of collectable item.
What is a Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Car?
Treasure Cars are a type of collectable in Forza Horizon 6. Nine vehicles are hidden around the map, and unlike the Barn Finds (we’ll have a separate guide for those), discovering them isn’t tied to progression.
As you explore the map, simply entering certain regions during natural gameplay will see a new clue for a hidden car appear in your dedicated Treasure Cars menu.
There will be an image and a brief description to help you find each vehicle, some of which are obscure.
Alternatively, you can just follow this guide and find them all in one quick, easy, session. Here’s how…
This cute retro Nissan will likely be the first you’re introduced to, as in the early gameplay stages of Horizon 6, the game will provide a clue and explain how the Treasure Car system works. So we’ll start here too.
Simply find the game’s representation of the Rainbow Bridge. This is in the south of Tokyo region, near the industrial island. Linking the mainland to this island, on the west side, is said bridge. You need to be on the mainland coastal road, near this bridge with the water on the right. There is a slight left, a slight right and then, at a junction, you should see the Figaro nestled in a car park.
Simply drive up to it to claim your first Treasure Car.
Dodge Charger R/T 1969
Region: Minamino
Next up, we head to the Minamino region for the Dodge Charger R/T. The area is northeast of Tokyo, and slap bang in the middle of the region is the identifiable sand bunkers and preened lawns of a golf course.
About halfway down the course on the right (as you look at the map), is where this muscle car is hidden. Right behind a ‘365’ store, and near a row of golf carts.
Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE 1985
Region: Ohtani
Over to Ohtani next, which is in the west of the map near the stadium. There is a series of asphalt and dirt country roads here that intersect amidst a series of masts.
You will spot a dirt road entrance with three branching options. Select the one on the far right. This will take you to two of the masts, with a house next to them. The Mazda is simply parked next to the silver and round mast.
Porsche 959 1987
Region: Shimanoyama
This next one was really tricky to find, so we hope this helps. In the Shimanoyama region, east of the map near the stadium and very near a Barn Find as it happens, is a Porsche 959.
This is towards the east of a small village, where, behind some bland buildings and near a large car park, is an illuminated 365 store. You’ll then see the silver Porsche parked up outside, while presumably its owner purchases an egg sandwich.
BMW M1 1981
Region: Hokubu
Did you know the BMW M1 was originally developed with Lamborghini? Until the Raging Bull ran out of money, that is. Anyway… there’s one hidden with Forza Horizon 6.
In the Hokubu region, situated around the middle of the map, there is a large tunnel, indicated with a pattern on the map’s road. Just north of there is a patch of fields, next to a railway bridge. This red German-Italian collaboration is sat right under there.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR 1995
Region: Takashiro
A little further north on the map, in Takashiro, lies an Evolution three Mitsubishi Lancer.
Below the snow-capped mountains, to the west, lies a network of dirt roads, and just before that kicks in is where you’ll find this saloon. Spot the end of the road, with a small loop, and near there, the dirt route begins through a gap in the fence.
Ahead of you is a large waterfall, but before you reach it, you’ll spot the Mitsubishi.
Lancia Stratos HF Stradale 1974
Region: Sotoyama
Right, just three Treasure Cars left to collect. We go even further north now, into the snow Sotoyama skiing region, for a Lancia Stratos.
There’s no obvious mission or challenge on the map nearby to help locate this, but it’s just off the main road that runs along the bottom of the snowy region. When heading east, this is before you find a Speed Zone.
You’re looking for a chalet, just off the road and in the snow. Parked next to it is the pert Italian sports car.
Ford GT 2005
Region: Nangan
Over to the warmer Nangan region next for the penultimate Treasure Car, the 2005 Ford GT.
Situated at the very bottom of the map, on the eastern shoreline, find the main dirt road nearest the water.
From there, eyes peeled for a yellow vertical sign, which marks the start of a narrow footpath. Follow this along until a viewing point, and the Ford is parked up on the right.
Nissan Safari Turbo 1985
Region: Ito
Here we go, the final Treasure Car and it’s in the Ito region. To the east of the map, there are blue seas and an archipelago. Slap band in the middle is a looping dirt track that almost looks like a circuit. As it turns out, parts of it are a Drift Zone.
On the inside of a hairpin turn, next to some building materials and the base of a wind turbine, you’ll find this – the Nissan Safari Turbo from 1985.
