Forza Horizon 5’s High Performance Dailies update adds four new cars

The usable performance car-themed Festival Playlist will see new four quick-ish family cars be added to the game.

Forza Horizon 5’s High Performance Dailies update adds four new cars

The new Forza Horizon 5 update is now available for PC and Xbox players – although the latest content, as part of a ‘High Performance Dailies’, won’t start unlocking until later in the week when the Festival Playlist begins.

The headlines are four new cars, and for the first time since last year, no optional paid car DLC.

The aforementioned new rides can be yours by completing a set of fresh in-game challenges.

The main series rewards, however, are returning favourites:

  • BMW M2 ‘23 – 80 points
  • Lucid Air – 160 points

The first of the new cars arrives in the summer wet season – complete events here, earn 20 points, and you can spend them on the 2022-spec Ford Focus ST.

Prior generations of the Focus are already in Horizon, but this is the recent facelifted derivation making its gaming debut.

One week later in the autumn storm season is the humdrum Toyota Camry saloon. Popular with cab drivers, it is the USA’s best-selling car outside of pick-up trucks. This particular version is the ‘TRD’ trim, which includes sporty appendages.

As previewed last week, the Focus will be joined by its smaller sibling, the feisty Fiesta ST. The diminutive pocket rocket has now sadly departed the world, production ceasing last year. This particular version is held in high regard by enthusiasts as one of the greatest hot hatches.

The final new addition doesn’t quite fit into the theme. If you find less than 10mpg is acceptable for a daily, only then does the Hemi-powered Dodge SRT Durango from 2021 fit in. It can be yours for earning 20 points from challenges within the spring, hot season, playlist.
