Fanatec has released a new Stream Deck-compatible plugin, allowing players direct access to the Fanatec Tuning Menu via their Elgato desktop controller.
Elgato has carved out a successful niche in the world of peripherals, with its Stream Deck products providing sim racers with eminently customisable button boxes. The key feature of these is their backlit buttons, which players can customise with their own images.
This also applies to streamers, who can map complicated actions, such as bringing up chat or camera overlays, to buttons, even via multiple menus.
Now, with Fanatec and Elgato working together to develop a dedicated plugin, Fanatec hardware owners can access force feedback settings on the fly. Settings on the Fanatec Tuning Menu include FFB strength, damper and friction parameters.
