  • Upgradeable with QR2 and CSL Boost Kit 180 for 8 Nm torque

Fanatec has reduced the price of its CSL DD QR1 wheelbases to their lowest-ever cost, as the Landshut-based business begins to phase out its older quick-release stock.

A limited supply of the CSL DD QR1 (5 Nm) is currently available for just €200, including a three-year warranty and PC compatibility (the CSL DD is also Xbox compatible when a compatible steering wheel is fitted).

The CSL DD began shipping in October 2021, offering an affordable alternative to other direct-drive wheelbases at the time. Released with 5 Nm torque, upgradeable to 8 Nm, the DD initially shipped with Fanatec’s older, less reliable QR1 quick-release system.

The QR1 was usurped by the more reliable QR2 in 2023, with most new Fanatec wheelbases (and steering wheels) shipped with the latest model thereafter.

Customers can upgrade to the QR2 system and the 8 Nm power supply for an extra €60 and €99.95, respectively.
