Fanatec’s range-starting sim rig, the CSL Cockpit, was initially released earlier this year, and now there is a range of matching accessories.
First up, there is now an available shelf, which is designed to hold game consoles or PCs. It can be affixed to the monitor holder or the monitor stand.
Speaking of which, that’s also new. It is for those looking for a free-standing unit to hold up to 60 inches (or 57” ultrawide) in size. Holding the monitor are two included mounting plates with VESA standard patterns.
There’s also a fresh keyboard holder unit. Two are packaged together and can be affixed anywhere along the cockpit’s main frame in unison to hold a rectangular input device.
Alternatively, they can be mounted on the aforementioned optional shelf. One gamepad can also be hung over each individual element.
Finally, you can now purchase a seat slider with a 135mm adjustment range, which can be retrofitted to the device.
The CSL Cockpit is one of only two rigs currently available from the German manufacturer, sitting beneath the venerable RennSport Cockpit V2 at €399.95. When shipped, it comes folded within a very slim package but is sturdy enough to support direct drive wheel bases of up to 25Nm peak torque.
A seat is an optional extra, with Fanatec offering a dedicated CSL Cockpit Seat for €99.95.
Pricing for its latest add-ons is listed below (excluding shipping and any local taxes), and most are available from today (19th November), currently listed with four to seven-day shipping.
The seat sliders are open for pre-orders, with availability according to Fanatec pencilled in for 17th January 2025.
