F1 Manager 2024 set for surprise Nintendo Switch release

Frontier Developments has today (26 June 2024) announced that its forthcoming F1 Manager 2024 game will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

Although traditionally available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, this is the first time F1 Manager has been earmarked for Nintendo’s hybrid machine, allowing players to unleash their inner Toto Wolff at home and on the go.

Best of all, the Switch version’s gameplay will be identical to PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions, with all of ‘24’s new features – including the new Create a Team mode – available from the off.

In terms of other handheld devices, the PC editions of both F1 Manager 2022 and ‘23 were technically playable on the Steam Deck but were not classed as ‘Verified’. This potentially makes the Switch version the definitive way to play portably.
