To celebrate the launch of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship season, the team at Frontier Developments is giving F1 fans a free weekend of play on F1 Manager 2022 on Steam until 6th March.

Normally clocking in at £44.99/$54.99/€54.99 for the full priced title, anyone on Steam can download and play it for free from 18:00 GMT on Thursday (2nd March) up until the end of the day on 6th March.

Furthermore, those who want to purchase the full game can get it for 70 percent off the regular price until the free play weekend ends.

F1 Manager 2022 released in August last year and while updates continue for the title, Frontier is working on getting F1 Manager 2023 out this year. The premise of the game is to take control of an existing Formula 1 team and run the logistical aspects of the team as the Team Principal.

You choices will define your Formula 1 legacy as a manager of a top level racing team. In our review, Tom said that “the core, in-race strategic manoeuvres are engrossing enough to warrant a dedicated game. We can’t wait to see where developers Frontier take this franchise over the coming years.”

So, if you’ve wanted to give this franchise a try, there is no better weekend than now. While F1 Manager 2022 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, the free-to-play weekend is only on Steam. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below if you are giving it a try. Keep it pinned!
