The next F1 25 game update will arrive next week, and with it will come a slew of ‘Season 2’ content and challenges, a new game mode and a spate of fixes.
Elimination Mode is the big ticket item (for now) – a fun online multiplayer mode that sees the drivers at the back of the field being knocked out of the race periodically as it progresses.
This is only available for a “limited time”, according to Electronic Arts, following a pattern with the same mode in other recent F1 games.
Significant changes have been made to the career modes in terms of more expensive car upgrades to slow down progression, while regulation changes can affect “more areas” and trigger later in a season.
A jagged bump in Turn 14 of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is also said to be ironed out.

There’s a long list of smaller changes and bug fixes, too. These include, among others (listed below), revised Logitech G923 performance for Xbox players and support for HDR10+ on NVIDIA PC graphics cards.
Notably, this update will add fresh Season 2 content – although that does not begin until 23rd July, and will remain under wraps until next week. In prior games, special real-world liveries and limited-time challenges have been part of similar updates.
