F1 25 is starting the new year with a new live service update, with Season 5 adding two new scenario challenges, unlockable liveries and a refreshed Podium Pass.
Running until 3rd March, Season 5 highlights two memorable moments from last year’s championship in new playable Scenario Events.
The first focuses on Nico Hulkenberg’s celebrated first podium finish. After 239 races without earning a spot on the podium, the German driver secured third place at the British Grand Prix last year.

F1 25’s scenario event recreates this achievement, challenging you to secure Sauber’s first podium since 2012. Completing this scenario unlocks the team’s Pixel-Powered Special Livery seen at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The second scenario focuses on Max Verstappen closing the gap in the fight for the Driver’s title against McLaren. Remarkably, the Dutch driver finished the season in second place, just two points behind Lando Norris – despite being 104 points behind after the Dutch Grand Prix.
In homage to Verstappen’s comeback, the scenario challenges you to finish on the podium in Singapore from a 15th-place start. Finishing on the podium as Verstappen will earn you the Racing Bulls Special Livery from the British Grand Prix.

Alongside new scenario challenges, the Podium Pass has been refreshed with new free and VIP rewards. New free tier rewards include a Jagged livery set (vehicle livery, race suit, gloves) and 2,500 PitCoin, while VIP members can acquire a Qu’est? 2 sponsor livery set and 6,500 PitCoin.
With the new season introducing new regulations, F1 25 will receive a paid 2026 expansion instead of a sequel, with a new “reimagined” entry set to arrive in 2027. According to Codemasters, more details about the expansion will be revealed “as we approach the hotly-anticipated real-world 2026 season.”
Given that Season 5 ends on 3rd March, ahead of the new season starting on the 8th, we should find out more about F1 25’s paid 2026 season expansion in March.
