Not jumped into EA SPORTS F1 22 yet? Now’s the time, as it will be available as a free trial for all players this coming weekend.

As the Formula 1 circus decamps for the United States Grand Prix, the official game of this season will be playable for no charge between the 20th and 24th October 2022 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Well, sort of, the Xbox trial ends one day earlier on 23rd October. During this time period, simply visit the relevant digital stores, download the game for no charge and play until the deadline.

McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, who looks to be without a race seat for next season, has also created a guide to lapping the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, ahead of the weekend. Those who set a quick lap time at the venue in F1 22 and share with #RicciardoChallenge and #F122gameSweepstakes could win a win a virtual meet and greet with the star too.

“During this free weekend trial, anyone can experience the thrill of Formula 1 for a limited time and we couldn’t have asked for a better coach to show us around the circuit than Daniel Ricciardo,” said Paul Jeal, Senior Director F1 Franchise at Codemasters”

This follows the Stars & Stripes car livery and race wear add-ons that arrived in the game yesterday.
