Disney Speedstorm Closed Beta started Wednesday, signups still open

The Closed Beta testing period for the upcoming title Disney Speedstorm started on Wednesday (June 8th). For hopeful players of the title, an invitation to participate in the closed beta is still a possibility as the signups remain open at this time.

It is a closed beta, so you will need to register and the development team will need to approve you to send you a code. More information on how to register is over at the Disney Speedstorm website.

For now, the closed beta is only available to those players on the Epic Games Store or on Steam. The game, when it does release, will be cross-playable and available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

The game is said to be free to download when it does release, but there will also be optional in-game purchases and seasons that bring new characters, karts and circuits when it does go live.

For now, closed beta players can get to play as the newly-announced Hercules and Megara from Disney’s Hercules. Other characters that will be part of the closed beta include Belle, The Beast, Mulan, Li Shang, Captain Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Baloo and Mowgli.

Will you be attempting to join the closed beta for this upcoming title? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
