2022 iRacing Season 1 Global Mazda MX-5 Fanatec Cup – Week 7 at Oran Park Track Guide | Dave Cam

It’s that time of the week again, a Dave Cam iRacing track guide, and this time it’s the antipodean hidden gem – Oran Park Raceway.

For 2022 iRacing Season 1 Week 7, the Global Mazda MX-5 Fanatec Cup official series heads to Australia and the now sadly defunct venue, which was turned into a housing estate in 2010. While the track is sadly no longer present, some of the replacement streets are named after former V8 Supercar legends who race here such as Peter Brock Street and Skaife Street.

At least iRacing is here to preserve it in perpetuity.

One of the tracks included with an iRacing subscription without the need for an additional purchase, Oran Park is a tricky little venue, with blind crests, braking whilst turning and bumps just before the corner turn-in point. There’s more to learn than perhaps first meets the eye, and that’s where this guide will hopefully help.

As ever, after this track guide, Dave will put his skills to the test with a race around this same venue, coming to the Traxion.GG YouTube channel the day after this video.

Be sure you check out Dave’s other track guides on the site and our YouTube channel. Let us know in the comments below if you’ve found this useful and subscribe for more iRacing content coming soon.
