Argentina-focused racing simulator PISTA Motorsport has just received another update, adding two new cars and a new track.
Unveiled as part of developer REG Simulations’ extensive plan to add new content to PISTA right up until its v1.0 release in 2026, the two new cars include the Ford Falcon Sprint and Chevy Series 2 (also known as the Nova), which form a new ‘Classic’ class.

As well as the new cars, the Autódromo Provincia de La Pampa makes its debut in the Early Access game, offering three technical layouts for players to enjoy. Located near the town of Toay, La Pampa opened its doors in 2012 and has hosted the country’s premier racing series, Turismo Carretera, every season since (except 2020, for obvious reasons).
Update 0.6.6.1 also unlocks car customisation, allowing players to modify each of the game’s vehicles, with several bug fixes also making the cut. The game’s external audio system has also been adjusted with REG promising that the game’s next update will be its biggest yet. Intriguing.

Open-world free-roaming was teased in February – alongside a drag-racing mode – and now appears as a blacked-out option on the main menu, indicating its release is imminent, possibly even in the next Early Access build. Similarly, karts could also form part of PISTA’s next big reveal.
PISTA Motorsport’s v0.6.6.1 update is available to download on Steam now and is free to everyone who already owns the game.
