The hype is building for this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix, and Max Verstappen is getting on board by contributing his skills towards F1 23’s latest feature, the Pro Challenge.

The premise is simple; Formula 1 stars set a benchmark lap using EA SPORTS F1 23 and task players with beating their lap time. In this case, surpassing Verstappen’s 1:10.621 around Zandvoort will net players an in-game replica of his special Dutch Grand Prix helmet.

The runaway 2023 F1 championship leader also offers a handy circuit guide to ensure players are armed with enough track knowledge to master Zandvoort’s cambered corners, which Verstappen will be aiming to do this weekend as he aims for his ninth win on the bounce.

Verstappen’s F1 23 Pro Challenge opens on the 29th of August and runs until the 4th of September, and is accessible via the game’s F1 World menu on PlayStation, PC and Xbox.
