The BeamNG.drive team has decided to celebrate passing the 100,000 member mark on its official Discord channel by launching a forum ‘championship’, with prizes up for grabs to the lucky winners.

The ‘100k Championship’ launches today on the BeamNG Discord channel and is set to feature eight unique challenges across the next 16 days. This arrives off the back of BeamNG’s v0.30 update, where VR functionality was added to the game alongside a new vehicle and significant updates to the West Coast USA map.

The first challenge is a straightforward Geoguessing game, with players encouraged to name the correct map based on the posted screenshot. (The answer is ‘Jungle Rock Island’ if you’re struggling!)

The answer is ‘Jungle Rock Island’!

The fastest person to answer correctly will earn three points, with two random users – who also answer correctly – awarded a point each.

According to the official post on BeamNG’s Discord channel, winners of each challenge will earn mini prizes, with championship points up for grabs throughout the series, with an overall winner declared. The prizes have yet to be determined.

Head on over to BeamNG.drive’s official Discord channel for a chance to participate. Will you be having a go at BeamNG.drive’s ‘100k Championship’? Let us know in the comments below.
