Autombolista 2’s v1.6 saga has been rambling on for several months now, seemingly stymied by licensing issues. But now the Brazilian developer has revealed a plethora of cars that will be released shortly, alongside a hefty update.

Two DLC packs will be released, costing $9.99 / 9.99€  each, with four free cars and two upgraded models on the way too.

We’ll break down all the new content below.

Lamborghini Dream Pack PT1

The Lamborghini Dream Pack PT1 (suggesting there will be a part two at some stage), contains the Lamborghini SC63 LMDh Hypercar which competes in both the IMSA and World Endurance Championships (although the Italian marque has withdrawn from 2025’s WEC).

The rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 and Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 are also in the pack. Although similar to look at, the GT3 example features far more performance. The Super Trofeo, on the other hand, is designed for one-make racing so is a little less complicated to drive, but still has the Sant’Agata firm’s glorious V10 powerplant.

Using alternative V12 and all-wheel-drive innards, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster road car forms the final piece of the Lamborghini Dream Pack PT1 puzzle, joining AMS 2’s ever-growing Hypercars class.

Endurance Pack PT2

The follow-up to January’s Endurance Pack PT1, PT2 features one more WEC LMDh Hypercar: the Alpine A424. Also found in WEC (although just in the 24 Hours of Le Mans round), the Oreca 07 and Ligier JS P217 LMP2 cars are also included (albeit the Ligier has fallen out of favour in recent times and hasn’t featured at Le Mans since 2021).

Completing the Endurance Pack PT2 are the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo and Corvette Z06 GT3.R, plumping up AMS 2’s GT3 class. The Audi is sadly not the latest GT3 Evo II version but the Corvette is at least new to the 2024 WEC’2024 LMGT3 grid.

Free cars coming to Automobilista 2’s v1.6 update

Finally, a range of free new cars are coming to AMS 2’s v1.6 update, including the Gen 1 Audi R8 LMS GT3 and its GT4 equivalent. Continuing the Audi trend, the monstrous Group A Audi Quattro V8 touring car is a popular addition, with the Ligier JS P320 dropping into the P1 Gen2 class.

Two car models are also receiving a free upgrade. The Corvette C8 Z06 road car has now been replaced by the Z07, while the Corvette C3.R from the GT Classics class gains an open-top version to sit alongside the tin top.

A release date for Automobilista 2’s v1.6 update has yet to be revealed, with a separate announcement on its upcoming tracks and other game improvements expected imminently.
