  • New game update also set for release
  • Server downtime of two days expected to lead to V0.6 release

Assetto Corsa Evo’s V0.6 content lineup has finally been confirmed, with the build’s changelog revealing that the Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo is coming to the sim.

Kunos Simulazioni has previously teased the inclusion of the Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari 296 GT3, Ford Mustang GT3, Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole and Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsport, with Sebring International Raceway the only track, and now Audi’s latest GT4 challenger completes the package.

The GT4 Audi was made available to motorsport customers ahead of the 2020 season, and has found recent success in the SRO-run GT4 European Series, where it claimed the 2025 Silver Cup in the hands of Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche.

Powered by the firm’s wailing 5.2-litre V10 engine, the GT4 Audi is mostly based on its road car variant, albeit with more race-focused parts and setup options. However, the car is much  less potent than its GT3 equivalent, featuring less aerodynamic proficiency and reduced power.

Audi has since pulled out of officially supporting its GT racing programmes, preferring to focus on its nascent Formula 1 project, although the Ingolstadt firm has committed to supplying its customers with official parts until 2032.

Alongside the new content, a significant AC Evo game update is also scheduled for release, featuring highlights like a 2026 refresh for the Nurburgring Nordschleife and AI, UI and physics tweaks.

AC Evo’s servers will experience downtime for the next two days, according to developer Kunos Simulazioni, after which we should expect to see the update rolled out to all players.
