Assetto Corsa Rally was released two weeks ago today into an early access programme, and already, sim rally enthusiasts are requesting further content.
While we do not know when the next set of stages will be added, it has been confirmed that the title will receive monthly updates and in one of those will be a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
During a community feedback session, Game Director Irvin Zonca confirmed that the Czech machine, which will sit alongside the existing Hyundai i20N Rally2:
“Very soon, we will release the Škoda Fabia Rally2. Škoda is one of our partners – we are already working on the car, so this is why I can confirm this.
“We will get one of the latest model years.”

The hatchback was first introduced as a Rally2-class model late 2022, and since then has been used to win several professional and amateur-level rally championships the world over.
It has won 18 events so far in the WRC2 competition, including the 2023 title, thanks to Andreas Mikkelsen. Mikołaj Marczyk took one to the 2025 European Rally Championship crown, too.
This is a contemporary, four-wheel-drive, sequential gearbox rally machine. While its release is slated for “very soon”, Zonca confirmed that the addition is “not in December.”
It won’t be alone, in the fullness of time, either.

“I can confirm that more modern cars that are currently competing [in the] higher levels [of rally] will be in the game,” continued Zonca.
“Indeed, we are talking with several manufacturers to bring more modern cars into the game.
“As a player and driver myself, I can’t wait. I’ve got this massive wishlist for cars.”
Assetto Corsa Rally’s first significant update, save for a hotfix, is expected next month.
