The first significant post-early access launch update for Assetto Corsa Rally is set to feature a new weather type and a retro rally star.

A snow-covered teaser video hints at the next Assetto Corsa Rally.

As reported by Traxion, the early access rally simulation will start receiving monthly updates, including enhancements and new content each month, from this December.

To this point, the included content for the first update has not yet been known, although a “wintry mountain road” has been teased and the Škoda Fabia Rally2 has been confirmed for a 2026 addition.

In the teaser clip on social media, we can clearly see and hear the classic Alpine A110.

This diminutive rear-wheel-drive and rear-engined French sports car was used to win the inaugural World Rally Championship in 1973.

The venue is harder to determine. The snow-capped scenery at least confirms a new weather type for the platform, and presumably matching studded or winter tyres. It could be a Col in the Alps to align with the aforementioned hint and the snow-capped mountain in the background of the shot.

Traxion hopes to find out more details about this update soon, including its anticipated imminent release date.
