Given the current state of Assetto Corsa EVO and the drastically different roadmap, perhaps it’s best not to rush things from this point on.
To that extent, the important 0.3 early access update has been delayed, and no new timescale or window has been provided.
“We are fully aware you are waiting for the third Early Access release of Assetto Corsa EVO,” reads a statement on the game’s social media channels today, 31st July.
“In the last few weeks, we’ve encountered some challenges that led us to invest more time in making sure the update is truly road-worthy.
“Apologies for the delay and thank you for your continued support and excitement for the game, we really appreciate it!”
While the third Assetto Corsa is in early access, since the initial release in January, it has been beset by several notable issues, delays and a lack of replayability.

In June 2025, development studio Kunos Simulazioni’s Co-founder and Executive Manager, Marco Massarutto, said the version 0.3 update should launch “within the next month”, but alas, this is now no longer the case.
The 0.3 update will receive the first iteration of online multiplayer, a much-requested feature at this juncture. Alongside this feature are promised updates to tyre and AI behaviour, two new tracks and nine new cars.
The creators have briefly shown a glimpse of a tyre flatspot to highlight the rubber enhancements, for example.

A trailer to accompany the delay also confirms more of these vehicles for the next update: The Ferrari F2004 F1 car, Audi RS6, Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO 2 and Caterham Seven. We’ve gone through the trailer and picked out the latest additions.
Several of these have been discussed for the sim racing title previously, but are now locked in for this particular update.

Elon Musk should buy Kunos. Then the schedule and fans would be respected.
I called this ages ago.
My bets are on December 2026
December for 1.0, or 0.3?
