Another car has been confirmed for Assetto Corsa Evo’s delayed 0.3 update: the Audi RS 6 Avant.
A high-performance version of Audi’s A6 Avant, the RS 6 variant packs a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 producing 621 horsepower, in the guise of a practical family estate (or wagon, for US readers).
This setup allows the RS6 Avant to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest estate cars on sale. The model shown is the standard RS6 Avant, rather than the lighter GT variant.
Audi’s sports estate will join three officially unveiled models in the 0.3 update: the BMW M3 E30, BMW M3 GT3 Evo and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Other confirmed cars set to arrive in update 0.3 that were teased in the announcement trailer include the Dallara Stradale, Ferrari F2004 Formula 1, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO 2, Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II, Caterham Seven and Caterham Seven Academy.
In addition to the new cars, Assetto Corsa Evo’s next update is set to add the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Red Bull Ring tracks, along with the long-awaited addition of online multiplayer.
Back in June, Kunos Simulazioni’s Co-founder and Executive Manager, Marco Massarutto, said that the 0.3 update should launch “within the next month.”
Since then, the update has been delayed, but no release window was announced. According to the developer, the delay is due to “some challenges that led us to invest more time in making sure the update is truly road-worthy.”
