Asetek has unveiled an all-new GT steering wheel at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, dubbed the GT Nova.

Launching in March 2027, the GT Nova is designed for longer GT and endurance racing sessions. Asetek stresses that it’s “not an incremental update” and a “clear step forward in design.”

Its main highlight is a prominent 1.3-inch OLED screen, which displays live telemetry data such as the gear selection and current speed.

By utilising the screen’s built-in RaceHub, users can adjust the wheelbase, pedal and wheel settings on the fly, or switch between preset configurations. Notably, it marks the first time Asetek’s RaceHub software can be accessed directly on the wheel, rather than in a separate download.

It also controls settings for the MultiLink rotary switch, allowing you to adjust the ABS, traction control, brake balance, differential or volume.

The Asetek GT Nova wheel will cost $299.99 excl. VAT and €299.99 (including 19% VAT) when it goes on sale next March. This positions it below its higher-end wheels like the flagship Invicta Formula, which boasts a larger 4.3-inch LCD screen, and the Forte Formula Pro.

From 16th October, all Asetek products purchased after 15th October will also include a five-year warranty.

The GT Nova follows a spate of new sim racing product launches from Asetek this year.

In October, the Danish manufacturer launched its Dual Mode Shifter and Load Cell Handbrake, along with its DD10 direct-drive wheelbase, which can be upgraded to deliver up to 14Nm of torque.

It also recently launched a firmware update that added button box functionality to the touch screens on the Forte Formula Pro and Invicta steering wheels.
