Rocket League has announced a tie-in with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whereby new items, vehicles and a new Pizza Party Limited Time mode have all been added to the game.
The lean, green, ninja team don’t actually appear in the update, nor do Splinter or the gang’s human ally April O’Neil, but their arch nemesis Shredder does make an appearance by dint of a swanky set of themed wheels.
Rocket League players can also claim a Turtle Power Topper as part of the new lineup of Challenge Rewards, with the Turtle Van Bundle (2500 Credits, more info below) providing the Turtle Van Car Body (Merc Hitbox) and a swathe of Decals.
The headline feature of the TMNT content, however, is the new Pizza Party Limited Time Mode, which runs until the 1st of May. Instead of a Soccar ball, players must work together in the 4v4 mode to drag a pizza puck towards the goal via grappling hooks, with jumping disallowed.

The TMNT update arrives concurrently with a significant Fortnite update, where players can take advantage of new TMNT Creator Tools, which include the addition of TMNT characters like Krang, Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady.
Rocket League’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle content is live now across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Switch, macOS and Linux editions of the game.
