The hype continues to build for Project Motor Racing, as it heads inexorably toward its 25th November release date on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Developed by Straight4 Studios, PMR has so far boasted a sports car-heavy lineup of cars, and that’s set to continue as two more Hypercars were revealed today (17th November 2025).

The 2024 versions of the Alpine A424 and Peugeot 9X8 will form part of the game’s ‘LMDh’ class, despite the Peugeot being an LMH car replete with a motor generator unit on its front driveshafts.

Both Peugeot and Alpine have found the going tough in the World Endurance Championship, but there was a recent glimmer of hope at Fuji Speedway back in September, where Alpine just edged out its French counterpart to take the race win. However, neither car appears in the North America-based IMSA series.

The game’s LMDh class will also include the Lamborghini SC63, Aston Martin Valkyrie, Porsche 963, Toyota GR010 Hybrid, Acura ARX-06, Cadillac V-Series.R and BMW M Hybrid V8, with only the Ferrari 499P missing to form the 2025 WEC and IMSA grids.

PMR will use GIANTS Software’s proprietary graphics engine – as used in the Farming Simulator games – alongside Straight4’s bespoke Hadron physics engine, and will feature several generations of sports cars: from the Lola T70 of the 1960s to modern GT3 cars, by way of the early noughties’ N-GTs.
