When five Super Touring cars were released for free-to-enter sim racing platform RaceRoom last November, the response was emphatic – drivers wanted even more.
“It’s another hugely impressive and feature-rich update,” we said at the time, and RaceRoom itself confirmed that sales were strong.
Now, a social media post by the KW Studios-developer platform has unveiled not only plans for a Super Touring esports competition – dubbed RSTC 25 – but also the first glimpse at further Class 2 models.

On the left of shot (main article image), we see the Alfa Romeo 156 driven in this instance by Nicola Larini. Why the model never raced in the BTCC (initial plans for a 1998 entry were shelved), the sleek saloon did achieve two Campionato Italiano Superturismo titles thanks to Fabrizio Giovanardi.
The Italian would repeat that feat in 2000 when the championship morphed into the European Super Touring Cup and once more by clinching the 2001 European Super Touring Championship.
To its right is the Opel Vectra, in its most evolved facelifted state. In this instance, the driver is Uwe Alzen from the 1999 STW season.
