It sees significant increases for both Alex Albon and Oscar Piatrstri when compared to their attributed scores last month.

Each drive on the current F1 grid is assigned a score within F1 23, out of 100, across four key criteria: Racecraft, Experience, Pace and Awareness. There’s then a fifth overall rating. These then determine their performance in the game, such as qualifying positions and race order.

Albon has moved up two points overall to 85, Piastri the same amount to 76. Zhou Guanyu also rises from 78 to 80.

Meanwhile, embattled Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez has dropped one point to 88, placing the Mexican one place below Lando Norris and level with George Russell.

Nyck de Vries drops to the bottom of the pile and you may be asking why he’s still included following the swap with Daniel Ricciardo and also why Piastri is still relatively far down the pecking order despite recent star showings.

The answer is quite simple, the scores which Anthony Davidson and Alex Jacques help compile alongside the main data points, are only calculated from performances between the Miami Grand Prix to the British Grand Prix. Further updates will arrive throughout the year.

Having said there, there also seems to be a re-balancing of the young Australian’s scores, with a 15-point reduction of the experience rating.

At the top of the field, runaway championship leader Max Verstappen extends his lead, now up to a 95/100 overall rating, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
