After several driver-swap test sessions, Le Mans Ultimate will host its first online 24-hour race next month.
Le Mans Ultimate’s first 24-hour races will take place on the 28th – 30th November for Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3 classes, with 62 cars simulating the famous 24 Hours Le Mans endurance race.
This will be preceded by the 12 Hours Spa on 24th– 26th October and 8 Hours Bahrain on 14th – 16th November.
In a developer blog, Studio 397 also reaffirmed plans to add hosted team events “by our next major release later this year.”
Meanwhile, testing for the long-awaited Engineer Mode is ongoing, but a release window remains unconfirmed due to “significant code changes,” according to the developer.

Lineup Driver Ratings (DR) are also being revised in a future update, with splits in every race determined by 75% lineup DR and 25% of the driver DR.
“Thank you to everyone who has participated in any of our Team Driver Swap team events until now – you’ve raced over 5 million km, done over 25,000 driver swaps in over 180 races,” Studio 397 wrote.
“This feature will change how Le Mans Ultimate is played for everyone and open the doors to more regular new and exciting events.”
