WATCH: Sim-Lab XP1 sim racing pedals review

What’s better than a ‘regular’ load cell pedal set? A 200kg load cell that can transfer up to 100kg of pedal pressure, that’s what!

WATCH - Sim-Lab XP1 sim racing pedals review

Sim-Lab, known primarily for its cockpits and sim racing seats has made the move into electronic hardware, with the XP1 – its first-ever set of pedals.

It’s gone all in too, with adjustable stiffness and initial first-stage compression, three stiffness of elastomers, swappable springs, RaceDirector software and a premium-feeling finish.

Watch our full review to see if Sim-Lab can bring across its reputation for quality into a new market segment and if it can stack up against very firm competition.

What we have on test here are two formula-style pedals, throttle and brake, which come as a set for £481. You can also purchase a clutch pedal for £175, or a set of three for £612. Sim-lab also offers the XB1 load cell handbrake, a push-ull rally gear shifter, and through GRID Engineering, the incredible Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Dashboard Display Unit which we shall review soon.

The unit was provided by Sim-Lab for review purposes, this is not a paid-for review.
