Announced last month ahead of the real-world 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans Ultimate is a new PC racing simulation title by Studio 397 and Motorsport Games, the same team behind rFactor 2. Those first glimpses showed off a Porsche 963 LMDh and a Ferrari 488 GTE around Circuit de la Sarthe.
On Thursday (6th July), the Le Mans Ultimate account shared another look at the Porsche 963 Hypercar, this particular one belonging to Proton Competition.
That team is set to take on the top class of FIA WEC competition for the first time this weekend during the real-world 6 Hours of Monza in Italy.
These pictures shared also provide us with a first look at the Monza Circuit itself, bathed in the colors of the Italian flag on kerbs and other visuals around the track.
The 5.793-kilometer (3.600-miles) FIA Grade 1 course is one of the most historic out there, and this reveal by the Le Mans Ultimate account is certainly timely.
It’s not a new car announcement as the Porsche Hypercar was already teased with the Penske Porsche from Le Mans. We know that the title plans to have 2023 grid included. This car from Proton Competition is actually the newest car on the grid, in fact it’s so new that this car and livery have yet to even compete to this point.
Le Mans Ultimate is set to launch on PC via Steam in December of 2023.
