The ADAC GT Masters Esports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+ will return in 2022 with a new calendar and changes to the ruleset, all aimed at spicing up the action further.
Once again using RaceRoom Racing Experience, there will be 12 races held over six events, with a more international flavour to the track selection. The live broadcast format will also be revised with shorter programming and more on-track action.
In 2021, some of the best drivers and teams in sim racing esports entered, with Team Redline’s Kevin Siggy and Jeffrey Rietveld, Williams Esports’ Nikodem Wisniewski and Isaac Price all winning races through the year, with the championship won by Moritz Löhner of Dörr Esports, picking up his third overall victory in as many years.
“The competition is so tight, you have to deliver every time without mistakes and that’s how my season went.”
2022 qualifying is open now within RaceRoom for the initial Shoutout rounds, and then once the grid is determined, a €70,000 prize pool is up for grabs.

There will be 32 cars on the grid, but eight entrants have already been determined based on their 2021 performance. This includes the top-three in the GT4 support class, Emre Cihan (Team Fordzilla), Adam Pinczes (Arnage Competition) and Alessandro Ottaviani (Virtualdrivers by TX3). Four guest entrants will also compete in each event.
