On 15th October, tune in for a single live broadcast with two exciting Virtual Le Mans Series events. The main Le Mans Virtual Series qualifies for its second round, this time at Spa-Francorchamps, and it will be followed by Round 2 of the Le Mans Virtual Cup, with the Top 30 qualifiers from the rFactor 2 competition system taking part.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is located in the Ardennes region of Belgium. Not only is it known for its fast and flowing nature, the Eau Rouge or Raidillon corners and the chips served with mayonnaise, but also the inclement weather. Might we see some changeable conditions this week?

38 teams, 21 LMP2’s and 17 LMGTE machines will go head to head for their starting positions in the 6 Hours of Spa. The entry list for the second round was revealed earlier in the week and will feature three drivers per team – just like the first round at Monza. However, with five drivers per team, some squads have switched up their lineups.

The star-studded line-up includes F3 star, Caio Collet, joining the championship-leading Realteam Hydrogen Redline No. 70 together with returnees Jeffrey Rietveld and Michal Smidl. NTT IndyCar’s Felix Rosenqvist will be teamed with Atze Kerkhof and Bono Huis in the Team Redline No. 123, as well as FIA F3 Vice-Champion Jack Doohan driving the No. 11 for Red Bull Racing Esports with Alex Siebel and Dennis Jordan.

The winning combination in the LMGTE class at Monza, the No. 91 Porsche Esports Team, will return in full with Mitchell deJong, Mack Bakkum and Martin Krönke taking turns behind the wheel. The LMGTE runner ups at Monza, the No. 71 BMW Team Redline machines, will also retain their Monza lineup with Rudy van Buren, Enzo Bonito and Kevin Siggy.

Le Mans Virtual Series Race 2 at Spa - Entry List unveiled

Once qualifying is complete, the Le Mans Virtual Cup will take to the track for its second race of the year. The series is open for anyone on rFactor 2, and entry is handled via the in-platform online leaderboard competition system. Using identical LMP3 cars, the racing is set to be intense and action packed.

The Top 30 in the points will have their chance to compete in the Le Mans finale in December, and from there, the top-two finishers will be invited to participate in the Le Mans Virtual Series main event in January next year.

The Le Mans Virtual Series qualifying starts at 6 pm BST (7 pm CEST, 1:00 pm ET) today. There will be 20 minutes for the GTE class and 20 minutes for those in LMP2. After that, the first race of the top-split Le Mans Virtual Cup, set for 45 minutes, follows shortly after.

All of the action will be live on the Traxion.GG YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels.

The main race itself will take place on Saturday 16th October, with the six-hour race broadcast starting at 12.30 pm BST (1.30 pm CEST, 7.30 am ET) and can be watched on the channels listed in the image below.
