It’s a new month, and that means time for a new Forza Horizon 6 game update. This time, things will be at a snail’s pace.
As ever, this update unlocks some new paid-for cars, either through the premium Car Pass DLC or as individual purchases for £2.99/$2.99 each.
We’ve covered those separately in our updated Car Pass guide (and in a section below), while most of this article focuses purely on the free content and features in the latest patch.
Right, with that settled, let’s get into it.
Five free new cars
Let’s begin with the three models that are all-new for the Forza game franchise.
The Honda S660 Alpha is a higher trim-level model (hence the ‘Alpha’ moniker) of the diminutive sports car. Well, sports-ish car. As it fits Japan’s kei rules, it must have less than 63 bhp from an engine smaller than 660cc. So it’s slow.
But it’s also got a manual gearbox, an open roof and the engine is even mid-mounted! One of the available customisation options will be a Mugen-developed bodykit (seen in the press images).
Next, the ultimate meme car. In Forza Horizon 4 it was the Peel (also in Horizon 5), but surely the Citroën Ami is the Horizon 6 equivalent? This tiny electric car isn’t actually a car. Technically, it’s a quadracycle, which means in the UK you can drive one with only a moped licence. In France, you can drive one from the age of 14. It’s also famous for falling over in Monaco.
Citroën Ami
Finally, following the theme of small, slow cars (and Gran Turismo 7), the first-generation (in facelifted form) Fiat Panda makes its debut. While not mentioned in the name, this is the 4×4 version, often seen in the Alps (to this day) as a rugged, cheap and go-anywhere machine for the winter months.
As for returning vehicles from prior Forza instalments, but new-to-Horizon-6, there are two: Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde (an underrated turbocharged front-wheel-drive hot hatch) and the Hillman Imp (a rear-engined Mini rival built in Scotland).

Citroën Ami 2025 (New-to-Forza franchise) – Earn 15 Festival Playlist points between 5th November and 12th November 2026

Hillman Imp 1966 (New-to-FH6, returns from FH4) – Earn 15 Festival Playlist points between 26th November and 3rd December 2026
Some subtle changes have been made to the Festival Playlist (Horizon 6’s live-service mode, with fresh challenges each week), chiefly making it easier to unlock the aforementioned new cars.
To earn them, you complete tests and earn Festival Playlist points. As of now, the point requirement to grab the new vehicles is lower.
Meanwhile, any championship format challenges in the Festival Playlist now use your chosen overall game difficulty setting.
PR Stunt leaderboard reset
It transpires there has been some exploiting of the online leaderboards for tasks such as Danger Signs, Drift Zones, Speed Zones, Trailblazers and Speed Traps.
There’s been a supposed fix, which naturally means the wiping of all leaderboards for the PR Stunts.
IKEA furniture
Did you know that most of the product names for IKEA products are unrelated Swedish words?
For example, the VARMBIXT translates as ‘Warm Pants’ and BROR means ‘brother’.
Swedes must be permanently perplexed upon visiting their local branch.
With this in mind, 35 official IKEA furniture items have been added to the garage customisation item roster:

Christmas-themed December update
Towards the beginning of December, expect another similar update, only this time with a festive theme. Three of the free new cars will be ‘New-to-Forza’ alongside a fresh permanent race route and evolving world changes.
Fixed an issue where the Percentage Map Discovered did not reach 100% even after discovering the entirety of each Region (Bug 4500482).
Reset all PR Stunt Leaderboards due to the presence of unrealistic entries (Bug 4610362)
Developer’s Note: With the release of Series 7, there will be a reset of all PR Stunt leaderboards. The team has focused on addressing several exploits that could be used to set illegitimate PR stunt scores, and we want to wipe the slate clean as a result to provide players with a fairer experience going forward.
The number of Festival Playlist Points required to unlock new cars has been reduced.
Developer’s Note: We have made this change based on community feedback, with the intent of making new cars easier to earn for all players, including those without access to the game’s online content.
Cars
Fixed an issue with shadows on the Varis Widebody Kit for the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition (Bug 4588148).

Fixed an issue with the 2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro where the brake calipers were reversed (Bug 4538304).
Fixed a typo on the 2025 McLaren W1 dashboard (Bug 4562888).
Fixed an issue with the 2004 Saleen S7 where the badge was on the hood (pre-production) rather than the bumper (production) (Bug 4602256).
Fixed an issue with the 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-1.6 Evolution II Forza Edition where livery mapping changed depending on level of detail (Bug 4581348).
Performance fix for the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior (Bug 4578281).
Developer’s Note: The Ginetta G40 Junior was released in Series 5 and was quickly noted to perform significantly better than cars within the same PI Class across several different PI Classes. Its overperformance created a negative sentiment surrounding the car and its effect on the meta, while also negatively impacting the experience of Horizon Play and Rivals. As a result, within this patch, we have made the decision to fix the performance of the Ginetta G40 Junior.
Added a filter to the Autoshow and Garage to show cars that are eligible for the current Festival Playlist Events (Bug 4569487).
Gameplay
Solo Seasonal Championships now use the player’s chosen difficulty (Bug 4497533).
Co-op Seasonal Championship difficulty has been increased (Bug 4617769).
Adjusted the threshold for the Bridge Underpasses Trailblazer across all PI classes (Bug 4521164).
Fixed an issue where players were unable to see Convoy members at a Custom Estate (Bug 4457838).
Playlist
Points will be retroactively awarded for the seventh Daily Challenge during Series 6 Week 1 (Summer) for any players who logged on during this week and were unable to complete this (Bug 4607404).
Points will be retroactively awarded for the third part of the Weekly Challenge during Series 5 Week 4 (Spring) for any players who logged on during this week and were unable to complete this (Bug 4590617).
Developer’s Note: In order to redeem these points and unlock any Rewards you will need to visit the Series 5 – British Automotive Playlist in the Playlist History Tab.
