Forza Horizon 5 is only available digitally on PlayStation 5, despite other Microsoft-published titles like Gears of War: Reloaded and Halo: Campaign Evolved receiving physical releases. This won’t be the case for Forza Horizon 6, however.
Mercifully for physical media fans, an official FAQ confirms that Forza Horizon 6 will get a physical release on PS5 when it launches next year, unlike its predecessor. It will also be printed on disc, rather than a code in a box.
The announcement comes after Sony made the controversial decision to stop producing physical PS5 game discs from 1st January 2028.
Originally slated for later this year, the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 will be released on 26th January 2027 following a delay.

Like the PC and Xbox versions, there will be three digital editions on PS5. Alongside the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition (priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99) includes a Welcome Pack and Car Pass. The Standard Edition will cost £59.99 / €69.99 / $69.99.
