Following confirmation that the next Assetto Corsa EVO early access update will include the ‘first iteration’ of free roam, a new keynote has been confirmed.

Further details about, and gameplay of, this German countryside exploration feature have been confirmed for Wednesday 7th October at 4 pm CEST on the Assetto Corsa YouTube channel.

The premiere is said to showcase what players can expect from the Eifel region, with sim racers not clear presently on what will be included at first.

Over time, an 1,600km2 area is expected, alongside single and multiplayer support, AI traffic with adjustable density and discoverable points of interest.

Marco Massarutto, Co-Founder & Executive Manager at developer Kunos Simulazioni, will host the presentation.

Lamborghini Temerario confirmed

Thanks to the event’s YouTube thumbnail, the Lamborghini Temerario has been confirmed for Assetto Corsa EVO.

The embryonic platform joins the list of present-day sim racing titles with the latest Raging Bull.

It’s a complex supercar, with a hybrid V8 powertrain, four-wheel drive, front-axle torque vectoring and four-wheel steering.

Both Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally will be at the SimRacing Expo, Frankfurt, next week, with a dedicated booth.
