Moza replaces R5 wheel base with 6Nm R5 Pro wheel base, plus new bundles
The R16 16Nm wheel base is now a fresh design, with upgraded internals
It’s a Tuesday, and that means Moza Racing has created some new sim racing equipment.
This time, it’s two newly updated direct drive wheel bases: R16 and R5 Pro. Both are on sale from today, 28th July 2026.
Moza Racing R5 Pro and SRP Lite2 Pedals
Replaces R5 as an entry-level sim racing bundle, 6Nm constant torque
Available with base, round racing wheel and pedals for $399 / €419 / £389
Or with the Truck wheel for $499 / €529 / £479
SRP Lite2 Pedals also an updated design
Sitting near the entry-level of Moza’s range, the R5 has been a popular wheel base (and bundle with wheel and pedals) initially launched in 2022.
It has now been superseded by the R5 Pro, which, slightly confusingly, doesn’t output 5Nm of torque, but 6Nm (what was wrong with calling it the R6?). That’s a 0.5Nm bump over the outgoing R5, which was rated at 5.5Nm.
That torque figure is quoted as ‘constant’ and not ‘peak’, and compared to the predecessor, there’s also a new ‘21-bit’ magnetic encoder that Moza claims “reproduces subtle changes in grip, road texture and vehicle balance” with great accuracy.
The Moza R5 Pro Racing Simulator (that’s the full title) includes the base, an ES Lite (round) Steering Wheel, SRP Lite2 Pedals (non-load cell) and a desk clamp. This bundle is priced at $399 / €419 / £389.
It’s available as the Moza R5 Pro Truck Driving Simulator, where the round sim wheel is replaced with the existing TSW Truck Wheel for $499 / €529 / £479.
The SRP Lite2 Pedals are also an updated product, but details are scant. The company claims a “more refined experience” and the pedal plates have more holes in the design. There will be an optional Brake Performance Kit and Throttle & Clutch Performance Kit.
MOZA R16 Ultra wheel base
A new mid-range direct drive wheel base with 16Nm of torque
Updated internals and design, first seen in R21 and R25 Ultra devices

First launched in 2021, before a V2 in 2023, the all-new R16 Ultra replaces one of the more venerable models in the Moza direct drive wheel base range,
Visually, it now has the same external design as the recent R21 and R25 Ultras, first seen last year. That means distinctive side strakes and LED lights.
Inside, the 16Nm motor is the newer flat-wire design (also seen in R21 and R25), a 600 MHz processor and the NexGen FFB Algorithm 4.0, which Moza claims produces lower latency and higher-frequency force feedback detail.
