RaceRoom to host Super Touring special event during SimRacing Expo Charlotte

RaceRoom Racing Experience will showcase some tin top action during the SimRacing Expo Charlotte weekend with an in-sim special event.

As with all races of this type on the platform, it will use the native ranking system, and the top split will be broadcast live. This time, however, the top split will be on the main stage’s screen during the North Carolinian event.

Anyone with RaceRoom can compete across the multiple splits, with the ‘SimRacing Expo Super Tourer Showcase’ soon to be listed for entry within the game.

The class will be the Super Touring vehicles from the 1990s around the Hockenheimring, a classic STW-aping format. There will be one mandatory pitstop for four tyres during the 30-minute event, which is preceded by a 10-minute qualifying session.

The competition will take place on Sunday, 24th May 2026, at 15:00 EDT, which is 21:00 CEST / 20:00 BST.

SimRacing Expo tickets now on sale

The SimRacing Expo Charlotte will take place in the Charlotte Convention Center between 22nd and 24th May 2026. Tickets are on sale now. RaceRoom won’t be the only competition broadcast during the event, which will be home to over 30 exhibitors, joining the eNASCAR College iRacing Series.
