Upcoming sim racing equipment brand Revosim made waves last year, when it confirmed its direct drive RS Pure wheel base to be released not just for PC and Xbox drivers, but PlayStation too.
Created by Nacon Racing, it will mark only the fourth-ever brand to be certified for Sony’s console to sell direct drive devices. This follows Fanatec, Thrustmaster and Logitech, beating the likes of Asetek and Moza to the punch.
The RS Pure is a 9Nm wheel base and is already available for PC. A console release date is not yet known, although during a News From The Pits presentation, “players will see more details about [them] next month,” according to Content and Community Manager at Nacon, Alexander Arthur.

Now, it has been confirmed that it will be joined by an entry-level wheel, called RS Initiale and for both consoles too.
Traxion has already seen mockups of a prototype design and branding, and learnt it would output 5Nm of torque, during a publisher event last year. But it was not known if it would be PC-only at that time.
“We already introduced last year, the RS Initiale series,” said Sébastien Waxin, Head of Racing at Nacon, speaking of that low-key 2025 announcement.
