Delayed RoadCraft update adds Moza steering wheel support

RoadCraft’s latest update adds Moza steering wheel support and three new vehicles, with a host of bug fixes also included.

RoadCraft, Saber Interactive

After experiencing some game-breaking bugs, RoadCraft’s Update 5 and the accompanying Timberworks Pack DLC have finally been reinstated.

Initially scheduled for release on the 2nd of December, Saber Interactive has now unveiled the  v5.1 update for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users, adding support for Moza wheelbase users to boot.

Check out the key features below.

RoadCraft v5.1 update

As well as Moza R5 and R9 steering wheel support, v5.1 also addresses the bugs experienced with the update’s initial release.

Players can also change the weather in-game, with several bug fixes and localisation issues arriving alongside general optimisations. The full changelog can be found at the bottom of this article.

RoadCraft demo re-released

Saber has also re-released the demo version of RoadCraft, which is freely available to all players.

What’s even better is that the demo, which features the first two maps of the full game, can be played online in four-player co-op mode, and cross-platform, too.

RoadCraft Timberworks Pack DLC

The RoadCraft Timberworks Pack is out now separately and is also free for owners of the game’s Rebuild Expansion DLC.

The new content adds three vehicles to the game, all of which are unsurprisingly focused on the logging industry. The Aramatsu Forester Neo Log Forwarder will provide a new way to pick up and transport timber, while the MTK Lesorub 2006 is a tractor-like tree harvester.

The Don 72 “Malamute”, on the other hand, is a new heavy-duty Scout vehicle replete with a cargo bay, which could prove handy for speedy object retrieval operations (if there’s a crane nearby, that is).

More updates on the way

RoadCraft’s second major expansion pack is scheduled to arrive in March 2026, and will include two new maps, new missions and new vehicles, including a wrecking ball, hinting at more destructive-style missions in future.

The game’s third Expansion (due later in 2026) will also include new maps and vehicles, and is rumoured to also add modding to the game.
