1990s-aping Old School Rally adds split-screen, new cars and stages

No, that’s not Colin McRae Rally you’re looking at, but the early access Old School Rally.

1990s aping Old School Rally adds split-screen new cars and stages

There has been a spate of smaller, retro-infused, rally games of late, with Old School Rally part of that cohort.

The early access title has now received a significant update, adding, among other items, local split-screen multiplayer – so not only as the visuals from the 1990s, so are the game modes.

Notably, alongside this extra feature is a fresh, boxy, vehicle. The Pada B82 is very much reminiscent of an old Lada.

Stages in Arizona and the United Kingdom also witness new environments, plus fog has been added to the weather mix – particularly appropriate for the latter location.

Further S-Class events have also been added, alongside claimed ‘improved steering wheel support’ (minus specifics), functioning wipers and further music tracks.

The free update by Frozen Lake Games is available now, with the title set to progress further through its early access programme. It’s currently priced at sub $10/£10.
