McLaren Racing has teamed up with virtual driving pioneers Racing Unleashed to offer an official racing simulation.
As you may expect from the reigning world champions, the spec list has been amplified over and above the Swiss outfit’s usual motion sim racing setups. That doesn’t just mean the eye-catching papaya livery.

The Racing Unleashed McLaren Racing Motion Simulator features a uniquely designed carbon fibre chassis on top with fibreglass below, compared to the standard issue fibreglass throughout, which is said to be inspired by its Formula 1 team’s innovations.
The monoposto setup features a motion system that activates for pitch, roll and yaw (3 DOF), combined with active harnesses for G-force replication.

Inside will be a customised seating arrangement per customer, and a 1:1 replica steering wheel from the MCL38 – the F1 car used by the Woking squad to win the constructors’ crown last season.
This includes a carbon fibre construction, a built-in screen, gearshift paddles and matching buttons and rotary switches. There’s also a functioning LED light at the rear for added authenticity.
The triple-screen layout, gaming PC, pedals ( hydraulic brake), direct drive wheel base and THX Certified Dolby Digital 5.1 sound system are all included.

Customers will be able to select from one of the liveries – the first option being akin to the real-world 2024 design, the second and third to be unveiled at a later date.
The order books are open now for CHF 120,000 before VAT and shipping, which currently converts (4th June 2025) to £108.172 / $146.578 USD.
