Round 3 of the 2022 NGK Spark Plug Esport Cup takes place in RaceRoom Racing Experience later today (17th March), as a packed field of Mercedes AMG GT3 EVOs duke it out for supremacy around Imola.
While every car is the same, customised setups are allowed. The third round visits the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari with two races in one event, both lasting for 20-minutes, following a qualifying session to determine the grid order.
This proceeds the fourth round, the grand final, where 32 of the best drivers from the season will compete in a 60-minute race around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Coverage begins at 6.15 pm GMT / 7.15 pm CET today, 17th March 2022, on the RaceRoom YouTube channel, with commentary from the exuberant Connery Maddick.
Bence Farkas currently leads the championship standings, with a scant four-point advantage over Yuval Rosen, with Czech entrant Petr Daniel currently in third. The latter two are both racing for the Absolute Motorsport Racing Team.
32 drivers have qualified for the Imola round via an in-platform RaceRoom online time trial, with the entry list for tonight below. The prizes for the overall winners include VIP tickets to the Nürburgring 24H race, headsets and sim racing equipment vouchers.
