Watch the Driven by Diversity Cup this weekend

For racers with Assetto Corsa Competizione on PC, the inaugural Driven by Diversity Cup is being held tomorrow, Saturday 19th February, in partnership with The Sim Grid.

Taking place in the form of a two-hour endurance race around the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, there is no entry fee, but entrants are encouraged to donate to Driven by Diversity – a non-profit organisation that aims to educate individuals and organisations about the value of diversity and inclusion in motorsport.

With the heightened accessibility of sim racing, it’s hoped this initiative will help showcase transferable skills and raise awareness of motorsport careers to under-represented groups.

The event itself will feature 60 minutes of practice, a 20-minute qualifying session, before the two-hour race with a mandatory pitstop.

The 40 entry slots have all been taken, but you can watch the race live on The Sim Grid’s YouTube channel, starting at 8.45 pm GMT / 9.45 pm CET.
